Chapter Awards

The CPCU Society’s Circle of Excellence Recognition Program awards each chapter for its efforts to achieve benchmarks in chapter performance. The Program provides chapter leaders, and committee and task force chairmen, with structure and guidance to achieve strategic, chapter, and member goals. Chapters earn Platinum, Gold, or Silver recognition by achieving key initiatives of the Society's strategic plan. 

The Richmond CPCU Society Chapter has a long-standing history of achieving Platinum Circle of Excellence recognition. 

The Richmond Chapter hosted "The Art of Ethical Negotiations" webinar to recognize the importance of Ethics to our insurance profession, gaining the chapter The 2024 Ethics Awareness Recognition Award! 

The art of negotiating is a skill used by many insurance professionals. Balancing the tenets of effective negotiating skills along with high ethical standard ensures that those outcomes truly benefit both parties. This presentation focused on ethical interactions for all parties and contrasted that with time-proven negotiating skills, to ensure that the highest standard of professional conduct are met in every interaction (An excerpt from Michael Koscielny's presentation brief).
