🌟 Upcoming Events & Important Dates

Community Garden Cleanup for Earth Day  April 18th
Come get your hands dirty at the Maymont Community Garden (near Texas Beach) from 10am-1pm on April 18th in celebration of Earth Day! Remember to wear appropriate clothing including work gloves and bring some water. Register today!

Shalom Farms Volunteer Event - July 13th
Mark your calendar for our summer volunteer event at Shalom Farms. Following a brief tour, we'll help this small business harvest, plant and tend to the farm. Save the date - details to follow! 

📚 Education & Professional Development

Upcoming Ethics Webinar - March 31st
It's not too late to register for our upcoming virtual Ethics Webinar on 3/31 at 12pm. We look forward to hearing from Rita Williams Bogar regarding how ethics plays a role in the growing use of AI, particularly in the insurance industry. This event offers CPCU CE credit to attendees. We appreciate our co-sponsors Allied Universal and the D.C. CPCU Society Chapter!

Scholarship Applications are open until May 1st!
We are officially accepting scholarship applications! Details on the requirements can be found on our website. As a reminder, we have scholarships available for high school students, college students and insurance professionals. Please be sure to share with anyone in your network who may be interested!

Don’t forget to take advantage of upcoming CPCU webinars. These sessions provide valuable industry insights and continuing education opportunities. Be sure to review the schedule and register in advance.
